Grounded in a validated, peer-led framework, you’ll learn how to respond with confidence while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety, boundaries, and referral pathways.

Meet The Presenter
Madeline Stiers, Ph.D., LCSW-S is the Chief Clinical Officer at the Hope and Healing Center & Institute. With extensive experience in training and program development, she equips professionals and volunteers with tools they can apply right away in their roles.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Understand common trauma responses in women
- Apply trauma-informed principles to peer and community support
- Use practical coping, emotional regulation, and CBT-informed tools
- Conduct basic safety checks and understand safety planning for IPV and crisis situations
- Identify appropriate referral pathways and implement warm handoffs to local mental health services
- Integrate trauma-informed practices into faith, healthcare, or community settings
